This season looks great, and I don't think it's even supposed to be going yet?

Checked out some pine forest today in the middle of nowhere couldn't believe it but someone had all ready been there and left a few aminitas sitting in trees and stuff? Weird. Nothing else much there except a few galerinas and russulas

Its been really cold at night these days, its a great sign!
I have seen mushrooms popping up all over the place, but I have yet to check any of my spots for actives.
Looks like its time to have a peek before work today.

I'll grab some photos if anything worth looking at is there :smile:

I had already been twice this time last year and thus far, no rain, no hunting, no mushrooms. Not a happy chappy.

I dont see why anyone bothers when its so dry. Yeah, you might find a couple in some isolated spots after 15 hours of looking. Not worth it. Just wait, this time next week should be prime.

Yo juke, this is going out to u in the biggest ray of sunshine man possible, but if u been using the site properly dude, u wouldnt ask wats the go with strophs, u would already know by now its a very good indicator species for what u apparently have been looking for since u joined, your close, real close!

strophs even popped up in a members outdoor grow box that he put together that he thought was just colonized woochips of subaeruginosas!!!!

All of my patches are still dry too. :frown:
There aren't even many inactives in my area either (northernish melbourne). Mind, I've only really looked around my suburb. I've been getting down on my knees, praying twice a day for some more rain and a consistent chill. "please answer my prayers!" Oooh I'm so keen. I gobbled up the last of my 2007 batch last weekend. And was happy to find they were still rather potent after almost a year in my freezer! Good times!
