Franky, i brought 8 kilo's of kava back from Fiji, they recommended 6-8 tablespoons per litre for a strong dose, i find that its good to chuck it in the blender for 5 mins then run all the root water through a cheese cloth otherwise you'll be drinking chunks of root! Just drink it in cup, best to space out your drinks for every 5-10 mins. You've got to skull it and just wait for the numbing to begin!!!

Hey guys, new member here from the Camberwell area. After an AMAZING trip (my second in as many years) last weekend off six fresh mushrooms I read through this entire fucking thread so I knew what to look for. I think I have a pretty good idea as of now. The subs from last weekend were not obtained through someone I can ask to take me hunting.
Anyway, this afternoon I took a walk through one or the parks in my area, parts of which have loads of rotting wood, tree stumps, mulch and tanbark everywhere. Although I did not see any mushrooms in the park itself, I did see one or two largish, white, probably non-active pins popping up near a pathway near my house which I'll check out again tomorrow.
Obviously, the lack of mature fruit must be due to the dry, warmish few weeks we've had in the area, but we have had a few heavy showers in the past 72 hours and it is now cooler. My question is are psilocybin containing mushrooms common this close to the city or is it a waste of time to even bother? Not asking for specific locations, btw.
Also, what the incidence of 'spraying' like in inner suburban areas? Is this done specifically to combat people hunting for magic mushrooms? Also is the spray itself residual poison that also affects spores? If so that's fucked up.
I'm confident I'll eventually find some, when I do I'll post pictures for verification.
Thanks guys, you have been a lot of help already.^^

bigbowlowrong: My psilocybin mushroom finds have all been within the inner city suburbs.
Does anyone know if it's worthwhile looking for actives out in Yarra Valley Ranges (past Healesville)?

Cheers, thought so. I guess there is a lower incidence of retarded bogans tramping the areas this close to the city as well.
It makes me kinda sad to think of the type of people who are just doing this to "GET FUUUUUCKED" are also the ones destroying/completely raping patches for everyone else.:/

They very commonly fruit this close to the city, ive had friends pick subs right in the heart of the city. Ask anyone here, you dont have to go out of Melbourne at all. As for spraying, no fortunately they are just spraying the weeds etc, its not to combat people hunting shrooms, that would be delibaerate poisoning on edible mushrooms on behalf of the council which wouldnt get them too far.

Sweet. As I don't have a license I'll stick to my train line and accompanying reserves/parks in the area should an extended trek near my house not prove fruitful.
Just gotta think positive...

kava is good, qat is much better...also much harder to buy fresh and its been illegal for a while now in the west.Much more potent than kava and does not taste anywhere near as bad. Its also called Ghat,Chat,Khat .The plant is known as catha edulis and if you come by one, obtain it quickly...you won't regret...
