Hey guys, gotta ask, I'm down on the Sapphire Coast, just moved here from the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne.. where the pickin was brilliant!

And I've been on a few hunts here.. and been thoroughly disappointed.. not just no subs, but no mushies at alL! Everywhere I go, it's far too dry.. it never seems to rain here (fairly far south) and grrr..

Anybody far south on the Sapphire Coast got the same problems?

I'm going to Melbourne on the weekend, where it's been raining and pouring and yeah!

Ok so I can't say I didn't find ANYTHING this year.. Here are a couple of subbs. I found out on a bush trail a couple of weeks ago, they're dried out now.

The smaller (black) one is the one I stepped on.. Unfortunately after I picked it. lol.

i was gonna go hunting this morning but found these just before i left growing in my kitchen in a pot plant, some sort of succulent, they look to be subs but i really dont know. the pot is filled with wood chips and stuff but these shrooms are popping up all around the bottom of this plant. they are all very small and dont seem to fully mature. it looks like they die before that stage. can anyone please help. it wopuld be great if they were actually subs. the environment seems right, the plant always has water because it is

a succulent

i doubt it mate, give one a pinch on the stem and see if it blues ...the stem looks so white which is promising imo but it looks more like a cube pin to me lol

here are some pins i found yours are microscopic lol, maybe they are strophs which are smaller anyhow they are cool whatever they are if no blue bruising is observed you will know every sub i found goes blue within a min of picking
