You can be a medical test subject for money. It usually entails taking some experimental drug and then having your vital signs monitored. Some of them actually pay a lot, but I've never done it. You generally have to meet some criteria (e.g. being a smoker, a certain age, pregnant, etc.), but if you live in the right place then I'm sure you can find one you qualify for. The city I live in is a hub for medical research, so I see these advertised all the time.

Whoa there Mr. Optimistic, while I can't discount the possibility of anything, I do honestly doubt that "this rock wont be around for [us] to retire on". That is taking things to the extreme, and I would hate to see someone behave recklessly for short term pleasure, simply because they didn't believe the world will even be here for them when they get older.
Saving for retirement at 18 is a HUGE step in the right direction! It's (relatively) easy to live off scraps when you're young, working hard jobs for cash. But if you don't have money when you're older, life will be a lot harder for you. Best to be smart and play it safe, by saving now, just in case you do live for a long while!

-------------------- "the way of the warrior is the resolute acceptance of death"

The Book of Five Rings
Dr Watson told The Sunday Times that he was "inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa" because "all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours – whereas all the testing says not really". He said there was a natural desire that all human beings should be equal but "people who have to deal with black employees find this not true".
