 Fourth amendment rights

I'm sure alot of you are aware of my current situation, but for those of you that aren't, here's a link to my thread.
What I'm wanting to know is specifics cases of illegal search and seizure getting the charges thrown out. I have been searching, but I just can't find much relevance to my situation. Thanks for any help.

Blissed, I dont have any answers for you but how are things going so far?
Did you get your car and stuff back yet and make it home?
I just read the whole thread about your arrest and that shit really sucks big time man.

The car is out and at a family member's house in Cape Corral. We are flying down on friday to get it and drive it back. No news on the lawyer, yet. i have to get all my funds together to give a good downpayment, so he'll get on the ball. I'll know more tomorrow.

Man, I hate to be a bummer. It sounds like they did a "knock and talk", and that you then handed weed over to them. Knock and talk is legal and by voluntarily giving them an arrestable offense they are allowed to search the rest of your person and property.
I don't know much of the details. It seems that the thread doesn't say much and has been munged a bit. From what I read I don't see any clear violations of the fourth. You should consult a lawyer though. My advice on picking a lawyer is here...
