My guess is that I rejected it before you wrote this post. I know you need starters but that isn't exactly something I can afford to give up. I'm still short on innings, really short on wins, and Wainwright is 3 weeks away. Victorino has zero value to me. He's a good player for runs and steals but my steals position seems to be etched in stone at this point and I prefer to get my runs scored via the long ball.

If I play Figgins, a recent acquisition, for Atkins you will have no shot no matter what you do. And Pierre is a fucking disaster in the other categories. Knock yourself out. You have other problems, most importantly zero moves left with over two months to go.

Yeah it's a last-ditch gamble on my part too. I'm hoping it helps me make some gains in R's, HR's, RBI's and SB's, what with Sizemore crankin' em this year and scoring a bunch. Who knows if Beckett will right his ship?
