I look at my team and I cant figure out how im in last place. I feel I drafted very well and still have a solid team. I just need this guys to start hitting, I cant see myself finishing last come after the all-star break.
Im open to trades I feel I have a lot of interchangeable parts. Im looking for a solid run scorer and a closer. I have quite a few power sluggers on my team that I would be willing to part with and Id be willing to deal one of my aces as well.
Keeping my fingers crossed that Micah Owings can get me a 2nd win today. Im a little irritated that Wainwright didnt get the win today also.

I think once I have Harang back that I'll be in third or fourth place pretty quick.
I just noticed I had three starting pitcher spots the other day and added Bonderman, but I was playing a pitcher down for a few weeks by my own stupidity.
If I can get a guy who would hit a fucking home run, I'd probably be set.

All teams should update their trading block.
It is a helpful tool to avoid dumb trades being proposed. It allows each team to see what other teams are looking for, who is available, etc.

The Jurrjens pick-up worked out in that it snaked me a win though I was hoping Burnett and Greinke would both wrap their days with 7 innings pitched and 1.29 ERA's...that last burp on Burnett's part wasn't welcome but oh well.

My guys have put together a solid 4 days and ive made up quite a bit of ground. Tomorrow will be a big make or break day for me. I have Penny, Wainwright, and Owings pitching tomorrow

Major league baseball I am a total spectator. All I can do is watch. Fantasy baseball is a battle of wits where my actions effect the outcome. I prefer the participant role to that of spectator.

I suppose, but one is real and the other is not.
In the end, you have just as much control of the outcome of fantasy baseball as you do a major league baseball game. You can start whichever pitcher you'd like, or make whatever line-up shuffles you want but in the end whether you end up with 2 hits or 20 hits is completely in the hands of that real player on a real field, not yourself.

Nonsense. By my selecting the players against the choices of other participants I effect the outcome through my exercise of judgment. Like general managers in baseball. There is no more element of luck in Fantasy baseball than in real baseball. It isn't by accident that I kick ass.

I thought Penny was going to fuck me over when I saw Colorado jump up 2-0 in the 1st only to see LA throw up 10 runs in the bottom of the inning. Ive had a nice day so far
