No posts from here because the weather hasnt been too awesome! I've been finding some, but not much...
I also would be a little more subtle about talking about all those drugs on-line... I mean, this is a mushroom forum, but pills and and prescriptions are a lot more serious and illegal... not lecturing you, just be careful... you could get ambushed, and that's never fun...

this forum has an other drug discussion forum where people talk about those drugs, and i'm not too worried.
also i dunno if pills are necessarily more illegal than mushrooms since psilocybin is schedule 1. not to mention many people post evidence of cultivation of mushrooms on this forum and don't get caught

I have been finding subbs but I lack a good internet connection so I haven't been posting pics. To bring you all up to date I have spotted 3 new areas with growth and also some new high end housing going up.

First time sub find for me, randomly walked into a few on a soccer field, a further search turned up this:

Tried out a small handful of half-dry ones today, didn't expect to feel anything but I did, definite head change along with some restlessness and butterflies.

Ditto. Just about every part of the East Coast has or is set to receive good rain except my neck of the woods The summer showers in the past weeks were just sufficient to keep most folks from taking out the sprinklers until now.

Our summer was delayed this year, we had snow in june lol, so right now it seems like a good time for these guys, also there's not that much rain here, but the field where i found these gets watered with sprinklers every day.

There's new sod outside the community college I go to, and it's absolutely booming. I've never seen that volume of subbs in Michigan. I'll probably get some pics for you guys, cuz it's definate myco-porn. Big, fat, meaty, subbs...
if you leave em in heat a bit too long, and they start getting slimy and dark, should they be thrown out? I picked some before I went to class and they got a little dried in my car, now they're the afformentioned black and gooey texture. This has happened before, and I think I just tossed them, anyone have any suggestions?

The black slimy texture is caused by bacterial rot and can cause food poisoning if eaten. It also might be fine to eat, depending on the species of bacteria. If people around here find out that you are eating unidentified bacteria they will be quite unhappy.

They were only in the car a couple hours, and the other ones I picked after class are fine, so keep 'em or chuck 'em? I don't dig subversive bacteria either, and I ain't jonesing for a freakout that bad, so if there's any question, out they go...

No sir, no rain. But there's new sod with automatic sprinklers that are probably on too much. Everywhere else, lawns are dead and brown... it's been a terrible summer for me around here (about 25 miles from Detroit). These are making up for it, though.
Those questionable ones were maggot-infested anyways, and they got the flush, in case anyone was wandering...
What kind of maggots are those? How many of the things you think we eat on a regular basis?
I always used to eat 'em fresh... thinking about that now...
