Woah, that lawn is exploding!
The subb season in the bay area (SF specifically) seems to be mid summer to early fall, although I wouldn't be surprised to find them any time of the year.

The subbs have arrived in the Bay Area. I'm seeing a couple of flushes per week at my main spot and their numbers are increasing. Here's some from this weekend:

Today I found a handful of subbs today in the heart of the bustling San Francisco financial district. They were literally in the shadow of a major museum. I'm hoping to get some good pics later this week.

You dont think you just gave away your spot by saying a major museum, i used to live in the bay area...Oakland, Pleasanton, Berkley, Dublin and other places i know its not that hard to find a museum in san fran

Maybe.
There's many museums in the area and just a few subbs at this location. It wouldn't be worth the effort to check all the museums for the slim chance of collecting a few subbs - although I wouldn't be surprised if someone tries it.
Rest assured, I wouldn't give my good location away.

If you looked for that spot you would probably find several other subb spots first.

Do you think it is possible to pick a field dry?? My lawn subbs in my good location haven't sprouted any in about a month now. Even with rain and humidity. I have been finding them in other spots and also on compost though.
