I'm not gonna buy fertilizer for my lawn, I'd rather just go around to neighbor's lawns to get shrooms; it's much easier. I've noticed that most of my subbs come from this one guy's lawn. It's huge and a part of it is by a trail, so I just grab mushrooms while I walk by. There seem to be new ones every day.

fight the power man, stop concealing it and be like hey man, i wanna pick these mushrooms off of your lawn as i think they contain psychoactive ingredients that i like to eat. ive had a guy that let me pick subbs off his lawn if he got half of them, he didnt know how to identify them but he had the lawn with mushies in it so all was fair, shroom envy is a bad thing so it was an even split i thank him for being so open minded about it spread the joy

Yeah, if anyone asks, I'm doing a mycology project and happened to see perfect subbjects (intentional typo ) on their lawn. I almost wish people would ask when they go past me though, cause it's kinda awkward when I'm just kneeling on a lawn and people just silently walk past me. Oh well, I guess it's better than being chased out.

I've been out hunting several times and until today, have only been able to find lots of foes. I found an area with mulch/manure combo and what I'm pretty sure are subbs growing in clumps. I took prints of these this morning and all were very black (I've had lots of experience w/brown prints).

I went back to the same place this afternoon and got more:

Do these look like subbs? I'm pretty sure the cap in the bottom left of the 2nd image is not b/c the gills are very light colored (currently printing those). Any suggestions on how to clean these?

Those do not appear to be subbs. The stems look too white and fragile. The pair in the upper right of your first pic are certainly not subbs.

YAYYY! Err.. yeah. I think I have a new favorite hunting ground! I was walking along my normal route, and I noticed that there were about 15 mushrooms grouped within about a foot. That's wayyyy more than I've ever seen together; I usually have to get like 2 per each lawn I see. Last time I came here was just yesterday, and I know for sure none of these were already here, which suggests high fertility. Well... it turns out these people just watered their lawn. So yeah, pretty awesome. I'm sure there were well over 50 pans of some kind just in the small area of the lawn, presumably all subbs and maybe foes. Last time I came here I got all subb prints, but we'll see. So.. I was collecting them and these two old people come up behind me and say "Whatcha got?", so I told them it was for my mycology project. They knew the people that lived there, and it might've actually been them; I'm not sure. So... I asked if they could tell the people that live there that I'll just poke around every now and then for my "project" and they nodded and said they were already sure it was okay with the owners. So... yeah. I'm set, I don't even know why I'll ever need to go anywhere else again if these are subbs! I'm printing now, there are 31. I would've taken way more but I wanted to take it slowly with the owners, plus I wanted more spores to fall. Some did have questionably low hanging gills, but we'll see, I guess. There were more than not that had good gill height. Oh, and most of these were probably quarter size, way bigger than I've ever found before.
 - Do you think I have some subbs?

Ah, right. You see, I don't have a scale so I'm searching around for a good dose. Ideally, I was looking for doseage for getting into 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, but on my first trip, I'd like to only be at level 1, maybe 2. Hopefully I'll find out how many I need to take. *nudge, nudge*
