Pan subs are poppin' hardcore in my area, with the expected Pan foes intermixed. I've only managed to attain pleasant bare threshold effects with the small portions I consumed over the past couple days, but with the >1oz. of wets I just obtained, I should be able to party

The apparent Pan subs that I've found meet this description. I've also wondered if there are other look-alikes with true black prints, but haven't found much info...Perhaps Pan casteneifolius (sp.) is a similar, weaker active than the Pan sub? There doesn't seem to be much info out on either the Pan castens or Pan acuminatus shrooms.

The only things that pop into my mind why it wouldnt be working is thus:
1. They're foes mistaken as subbs. 2. You're eating too low doses/eating meat and heavy food before tripping. 3. they arent being stored properly and are losing potency. 4. You are eating other pans. Not including acuminatus or casters. They are incredibly rare and the only way to differentiate them from subbs is with a microscope.

Very nice find, where did you find this grass? Horse pasture? Also, I live in southern new hampshire, and the temp just spiked up to 90, will psilly shrooms pop up in temperatures this high?

Actually it is growing in SOD and another area I hit is from Hydro seed. We just topped 90 today and high humidity. Best time is in the morning before the sun bakes them.

So if they are subbs then what is the proper dosage? If they are not then why is the print black? Mine are all Jet Black.

Nice pics.
Dosages vary from person to person and shroom to shroom. But an 8th dry is enough to get almost anyone tripping. If you cant feel it enjoyably at that level, something is wrong.

So true, i usually eat 4-7grms dry but i love too have intense experiences. I wouldnt recommend a noob 7grms dry though do what subbedhunter420 said take an 1/8th for a good time.

Looks like you've been in the right habitat, at least. Those appear to be stout Fairy Ring Mushrooms (Marasmius oreades), which are good edibles. However, be certain to check the spore prints; they should be white. Also, there should be cottony filaments inside the stalk.

Oh, one thing I noticed with the pics is that the Pan subs seem to be "beefier" in compost and manure, and more diminutive and "Pan foe-like" in grassy soil. Have y'all observed anything like that?
