hell yeah subbehunter two kitchen tables WOW thats awesome. The pasture ive been finding sum of these in has really just started to take off the fruits keep spreading each week they take over another 10-20 yards of pasture each day so by about the middle of June it should be blowin up, happy hunting too all. I love these things just as much as weilii and sometimes more. Sometimes i just want a nice mellow trip with all great visuals of weilii but not the speedy feeling weilii have, subbs rule. Peace

The bay area doesnt have much in the way of subb habitats except in late spring and summer. They are there, just in much smaller numbers than the ever prefect, 72 degrees, beautiful malibu that I always think about when I think of subbs.

More info on temps would be great subbedhunter420. Just wondering from what ive read on this site i thought 86 was the best temp but i dont know much about subbs. Ive been finding all of my subbs and its been in the mid 70's low 80's here in GA. Any info would be very helpful. Peace

We have little to no winds here usually and the temps are around 72-80 lately. somedays it peaks up to the 90s and some on the coudy days like today it gets 50 at night. Its a wide range. But Subbalteatus mycelium runs from 80-86 farenheit and the fruitings occur in the 70s. they usually need a cool off and a lot of air exchange in order to trigger mass pinnings.

Do subbs need a lot of rain to grow. Should I wait a few days after if rains to hunt. Or will they grown without much rain??

They will grow without rain as I have found my only haul during a time of not much rain but I'm sure the rain is definitely a plus.

Do Turkeys eat mushrooms if so then I will cut there fucking heads off... there are about 3 turkeys hanging out around the subb patch area. grrr I hope not! anyway lots of pan papps popping back up maybe they'll be back up in the next few days
