My honest opinion. I think Audry Arlovski is one of the best heavyweight fighters in UFC. Him and Randy Couture.

He's not really unemployed. He fought on the un-televised undercard of the last UFC event and is choosing not to extend his contract.
That fight is probably the last fight I enjoyed of Arlovski, I hope he ends up somewhere he can get some good fights.

I'm always amazed that Sylvia is a great fighter.
He just looks so stiff and awkward as he moves. But I guess he can take a punch, as evidenced by that video...

He is rather awkward, but it's really hard to knock somebody out punching up several inches from your normal kind of punch. Especially somebody with a couple inches of reach on you.

The announcer in that last fight has mentioned that he was quite tall, but I had never noticed before.

6 foot 8 or 11 can't remember....that's pretty tall. I don't thing much of him, all he's got is size, same with Tank Abbot. Both should retire imo. Andre Arlovski was always an explosive fighter as well as Tito and Randy. A good fight would be Randy or Tito vs Kimbo. Or Andre Arlovski vs Kimbo

Yeah he's a lanky bastard. He is good at keeping people outside with his range and also has a pretty impressive take-down defense. He gets lost pretty quickly on the ground when somebody has hold of him, although he was able to stall with Jeff Monson on the ground and he's a world class grappler. I'm now going to bow out gracefully here before I start getting too elitist here about my mixed martial arts.

Good, that's what you start to lose me.

I'm sure you would stop listening if I started talking about how the Chicago Cubs need to get some middle-of-the-lineup hitters with a decent OBPS, because we have a pretty high K/H ratio.

I don't mind. If you can throw that's all the better for you. I really don't think much of Tim though ... he's too much of a giant, I think Fedor Emelianenko would walk straight through him. He's got all the power and speed and accuracy i've ever seen in a fighter besides Chuck Liddell, lol. I noticed Chuck's getting old that's why you never really see him missing shots because he can't afford to. His throws are powerful but he makes sure they hit...haha if you've seen some of his fights you'll see that when people block it's like a knife through butter. Every single shot hits em with 'star' punches, lol.

Yeah I was a casual fan before I started training in the sport. Now I get pissed off about things I said before I knew better.
I know it's like that for any sport though. There's a whole new level of analysis that can't be seen through the eyes of somebody who's never been in that position. But the catch is if you can't make that analysis for yourself, you aren't as interested in hearing about it from people that can.

Not really. I envy people that do great better things, actually. I'm a fatass but looking at UFC, K-1, Pride Fighters. Those guys keep in the top shape, they gotta besides you know, Butter Bean. Without endurance you won't keep up long in the first round. I'm an idiot, I agree. I love this sport though ...
