 Michael Beasley

So..do you guys think Michael Beasley should get Player of the Year or should it be Tyler Hansbrough? Or someone else?
Well.. I'm biased because I go to K-State so I think Beasley should get it.. but even still.. he has slightly better stats than Tyler. I'm pretty sure if these two players were on the opposite team Beasley would easily get the title.
Anyone else following NCAA basketball??

I'm torn between him and Hansbrough. I really don't like Hansbrough, so my bias says Beasley, but leaving that aside I say Hansbrough. It's tough though, they're really fucking good.
He's already won quite a few though (Hansbrough that is) if I remember correctly.
Either way, Beasley is gonna be fucking sick next year.
Speaking of fucking sick, SU's loss has made me stay away from ESPN or other forms of college basketball all day. It's really tough, but I know I'll just be upset watching.

Beasley is a monster and will be a much better pro, but I gotta go with Hansbrough. He has his team at a much higher level.

Funny, most people don't think Pistol Pete is.
Let's not forget there are exceptions to every rule. Black guys own basketball and we all know it. They just go to the NBA before the white dudes, so the white guys stick around and win awards.

Who's was greater than the pistol?
Problem is that the roles in basketball are different in the pros vs college and that that positions have changed SO much.
And trust me, I know how good the brothers are at ball. I played at a pretty high level and for sure could have played Div I, but I'm from a very white state, and when I'd went play street ball back in the 90's for the first time, I nearly crapped. I held my own due to my vert, defensive tenacity, hustle and shooting ability, but it was an eye opener.

It's generally accepted that Lew Alcindor was far and away the best college basketball player ever.
Not to mention a lot of people also agree that Oscar Robertson, Bill Walton and Bill Russell were better. In all honesty I haven't heard very many people complain about the top 5 greatest college basketball players on ESPN's list save when people think Jerry West should have been above Pistol Pete.

The pistol was a sub 6 foot 5 white guy!! In the sport of basketball, he may as well have been in a wheel chair!!
Okay, so maybe what I needed to state was that everything else being equal, or if we grade on a curve, Pete was the greatest ever.
Come on man, throw the guy a bone!!

Okay, I'll go for that. So Jerry West and Pistol Pete are the two greatest college players ever, followed by Bill Walton and Chuck Nevit.
