.. on a game against the caps?
It *SHOULD* have gone into overtime.... If anyone missed it.. it would have been a hell of an overtime game until Backstrom accidentally dumped it in his own net after a rebound... and they gave Crosby another goal.
They had a microphone in Crosby's helmet. You could hear his screaming and cheering and yelling "He put it in his own net? Did he really put that in his own net???!?!?!"
With 20 seconds left... GAH!

i saw it all. during the live shot i thought i saw backstrom knock it in, then on the replay it looked like a deliberate shot...my jaw just dropped. crosby knew it too. those last ten minutes were something else. then staal to seal the deal...what a game

Backstrom's only 19 also.. imagine how shitty he must be feeling.
The caps NEED some points man. They're what... like 5-6 pts outta 8th now?

I don't pay much attention to hockey, but from the buzz I hear it seems like a pretty good season.

pens got sabres and philly coming up, i think both are right around near that 8th spot, maybe the pens will do the caps a good one and win both of those games to hold them up a bit
