Ok i figure i might as well kick it off.. On to the next UFC fight, Serra vs St-Pierre 2...
What's everybody's thoughts on this upcoming fight..
I personally pray Serra finds a way to beat him again. But if he doesn't i will not be disappointed because i am happy he got his chance to prove he deserved to be a champion.
I do hope down the line they give us Hughes Vs Serra... I fucking hate Matt Hughes, and hope Serra beats his ass.

i haven't seen enough serra to put my money on him, but after watching gsp completely school matt hughes i'm gonna have to go with st pierre.
in the serra/hughes match up (which should have happened before this fight) we would have seen if serra was capable. but i don't think the little guys got it.
gsp is just too fast on point now.
does anyone know anything about "World Victory Road’s Sengoku". Looks like some great fighters (Gomi, Barnett, Yoshida)

Serra beat GSP fair and square, I'll be the first to admit it. But 9/10 GSP outclasses Serra and beats the ever-living fuck out of him. Honestly, his skills are far beyond that of Serras. I'm not being a bias Canadian at all, but I think a lot of the Serra fanboys are absolutely delusional.
Is there something that I'm missing? How are people so adamant that Serra is a better fighter than GSP? I haven't met any intelligent MMA fan who's thought Serra was better than GSP, just idiots. Well, maybe one or two intelligent MMA fans... but still. It boggles my mind. I legitimately want to understand why people think Serra is better than GSP.

Well i am a Serra fan, and have been since 2001. I can honestly say GSP is a better fighter in the match up, but hey everybody believed Serra wouldn't last two minutes with him last fight, and Matt knocked him silly.
I am gonna be pulling for Matt Serra in this fight like i did last time, and i hope he finds a way to beat him again... If GSP beats him i will be the first one on here saying he is a great fighter, and deserves to be the champion . I hope the GSP fans can say the same.
But as i said i waited 6 years to see Serra win a title, and i got no complaints what ever happens. Well except if that cum stain Herb Dean is the ref..

Anyone can get popped and get taken out of a fight. This time it's going to be St. Pierre that crumples him in round two with a straight right.

I was wearing my GSP shirt to work the other day and had two people ask me why I had a picture of myself on my shirt
I didn't know how to take that, I don't think I look Canadian or in that good of shape

Not that the rest of the card is that important, but we can't let baseball take over the forum so let's talk about the other fights.
-Rich Franklin vs. Travis Lutter
-Nate Quarry vs. Kalib Starnes
-Michael Bisping vs. Charles McCarthy
-Mac Danzig vs. Mark Bocek
Preliminary Bouts:
-Jason MacDonald vs. Joe Doerksen
-Sam Stout vs. Rich Clementi
-Kuniyoshi Hironaka vs. Jonathan Goulet
-Alan Belcher vs. Jason Day
-Cain Velasquez vs. Brad Morris
-Ed Herman vs. Demian Maia
I guess I'm only really interested in the Franklin, Quarry, and Belcher fights. Could definitely turn out to be a good card, Franklin should be able to pound out Lutter, hopefully Quarry scores a knockout and Belcher has been training with some of my coaches and I'm thinking TKO via GnP, for some reason he's been really focusing on his wrestling.

i stopped caring about Quarry a long time ago. Same as stupid ass lutter.
shit i stopped caring about lutter when he knocked out eastman.
so many of these fighters are just perennial B level fighters.
