I don't snort pills or anything at all. My girlfriend texted me asking a question. So heres the question. Can you just snort any pill? Or are there certain ones that would have like a real bad effect on you? Sorry if I sound stupid, iv'e never been into any of that kinda stuff, just a curious question.

You can not snort every pill. Some are dangerous and some won't work.

Pills are mostly fillers that will not get absorbed in your nasal passage. If people claim they get high when they snort pills, it's because they're swallowing the drip.
Just tell her to grind them and put the powder like on the back of her tongue and wash it down with some juice... kinda like BC Powder.

valium for one doesnt work any better/different when snorted. i gave the gf a couple and she didnt think to ask me about whether snorting them was a good idea. she regretted that one.

Since we got a thread about snorting. I never really thought about this until recently, when you snort shit, does it collect in your lungs? Where does all the shit go?

In the long run, not worth it.
I can't remember, but I think if you snoted the oval shapped oxycodone(?), it released a gel in your nasal passage. Thus, sufficiently sucking.

you're joking right? Not all pills are water soluble, in this case you would be right. Since water soluble pills can't be absorbed by the nasal membranes the only chance you have of getting high is via the drip. Xanax is an example of something that wont work snorted, oxycontin is a great example of something that can.

actually, again, you're wrong here. Snorting provides a faster onset, a heavier "rush", and a shorter duration. Eating the pill (especially with the time release still perfectly intact) will provide a more mellower come up, a longer duration, and a drastically reduced rush.
I've gotten higher off of a 4 mg dilaudid by snorting it rather then eating it and lemme tell you, the amount of binder in a dilaudid compared to actual active chemcial is very large.
Now, if you're trying to snort something like a hydro or a perc you would be better off eating it because:
a.) snorting APAP is just stupid
b.) 5 mg of oxy to 300-500 mg of APAP + xx mg of binder
So, some pills are easily snorted while producing desired effects while some pills just need to be taken orally. As a rule of thumb if it's a benzo eat it, if it contains APAP eat it, anything else is possible to be snorted if you so choose.

i'm sorry but i strongly disagree with you. xanax kicks in quite a bit faster and with more of a kick when snorted. oxycontin on the other hand still takes about a half hour or so for the full effect to kick in even without the time release gel(not sure what it's made of)on it.

ive snorted ativan to no avail, up to 6mg.
