What a huge weraroa score. Those are all I ever find in the Tararua. But I've never found that many. It's only ever 5 or 6 decent pouches in a punga lined river valley. Always real damp with some native pine type needles; basically the ground has a neatly laid, golden brown carpet cover and the weraroas come through.
My last trip was real weak but kinda funny. Visual distortions were minimal but when I laid down and closed my eyes I was in a kitchen with a maori family and they weren't pleased with me for stealing from the Iwi.
I did the honey method that time w fresh and I don't recommend it. My tea was real easy to go down but afterward, eating the left over wet shrooms really made me gag and that feeling took ages to go away... weraroa are quite tough and not pleasant to chew. Dry them out nad mix them in with something else. Though they do smell real nice.
Enjoy!
Nearly forgot... someone posted that they found little pouches close by and ate those too... NOT RECOMMENDED. I always find weraroa virescens in my patch. They are the little smurf looking blue ones that come straight out of clear ground. Don't confuses them. They look totally different if you know what a weraroa look like. Mixing them will only keep you on the toilet.

We have still been bringing them in by the kg here. We got close to 1 kg of those weird weraroa variants yesterday - plus about 3-4 kg the weekend before. They are definitely not closely related to subs, apart from tho golding cap there is no structural similarities at all.

Someone posted that weraroa dosage was basically the same as subs. I did 2gs of dried weraroa last night and it was lame as. Luckly I found a heap today to replace the ones I waisted. They may not have been too potent. The ones I'm drying now are going incredibly blue. Not sure if I should still up to 4gs next time.
Who's used weraroas and knows what to dose for say level 3?

Some people say that Weraroa needs to be eaten fresh and that they are not active dried. I would like to know if its true.

Nice work man Ive currently got the Mycelium and bit of wood etc spawning on to card board and I must say after a week they are steaming along nicely, Ive made up a nice pine wood box for these guys too and will add them in a few more weeks when nice and strong.

yeah had my doubts as i didnt use a cardboard tek just threw all the mycelium and cut offs into an old drawer with some bark from there original habitat, might explain way its taken so long for them to spawn, but alow and behold there is definate signs of healthy life now ive placed a black rubbish bag over the top to try and get some humidity going so touching wood things dont go pear shaped!!

theres actually a mixture ive just thrown everything into a box and it seems the good old subs are winning was reading in another post that usually the strongest strain dominates so my dreams of a hybrid are still a dream ha ha,trying my luck with a cardboard weraroa tek....have to see how that goes fingers crossed.

been trying a ps.aucklandii cardboard tek...as well as a ps.subaeruginosa cardboard tek...the sub mycelium seems to be taking alot faster and easier...the aucklandii mycelium has mostly conained itself to a rotten piece of wood that was contaminated,

Really?
I have once eaten fresh weraroa, about 6 medium sized ones and had nothing happen, I didnt feel any effects. I have tripped weraroa many times before and know what happens during a trip.
A couple weeks later I saved some in a tin for about 6 days, they got pretty dry but not dried completely, I had 2 small ones and got a surprisingly strong trip off them. So in this case, drying them made them FAR more potent. Any way to explain this? Taking into account I hadnt had any other shrooms or drugs in the week before each trip, so tolerance wasnt a factor.
