If you live in southern california, and are a medical patient, you have serious advantages to everyone inclduing Amsterdams shit. The bud down here is better, (Ive smoked Amsterdam's and my friends agree) and you can get hash oil!
If you think youre sly and you buy dank bud from your local buddy, youre not even competition. If you are a dealer, youre a chump. if youre a grower and youve been sucessful a few times, youre still in training.
If youve been growing for 20+ years on and off government programs and have strains named after you then youre legit. until then, take all of your rep and kill it. youre just small fish in an ocean.
Does anyone here know Jack Herer personally? Do you know who he even is?
I do...
(Btw... Im smoking 707 Nightshade, Headband(OG x Sour Diesel), and Buddha's Earwax (better than hash oil).
ill post some pics later.

haha yeah because the best growers are legit on prop 215? Sorry, but I'm sure anything available in the clubs is available elsewhere, if you know what's up.
Most growers have to weigh the benefits of being semi-legit under prop 215 versus a loss in profit from it. The clubs certainly aren't paying them as much as other people do.
And none but the most well-known growers get strains named after them, Jack Herer being one. In fact, I can't really think of any other strains named after a person. Most breeders just name their own strains and get known for them, like DJ Short or Subcool/MZJill.
Buddha's Earwax huh? Is it BHO or something? Or budder?

There is some pretty stuff in this thread, I've had the pleasure to have some of that sour diesel, trainwreck, and afghani, and they were all top notch.

Buddhas earwax is exactly what It sounds like. It is considered a wax. Its a type of hash oil/hash that is around 85-95% potency. It looks golden, stickier than mollasses and the only way to get it off something is to burn it off. (AKA drops at the end of a paperclip.)
BTW, do you have a medical card? when was the last time a dealer brought 60 strains to you? Theres nothing like it. I dont care if youre even a grower with 99 plants, unless theyre all a different plant, you dont have the benefits of a cannabis club. 6 dollar grams of hash? 2o dollar eigths of the best? DREAMS... you have.

Wow! I was under the impression that you would be paying ungodly high prices for these great strains even with a card. I actually read in a high times not too long ago that there were eighths going for around 110.00 in southern california for those with a card. No shit

Yeah, unless you're a member of one of the private clubs that you have to apply to where prices are actually that cheap. $90/eighth for OG Kush? Bit pricey. Just browsing through the clubs listed on www.canorml.org/prop/cbclist.html, I noticed that average prices at most clubs were $20/gram for the majority of strains, so if you're getting $20/eighths, let me know the name of that club for the next time I go south . I'm not actually in California, but have quite a few friends down there. None of them buy from the clubs unless they want good hash/oil or edibles, because they get the same quality bud from different sources (usually those sources being the same people that grow for the clubs).
60 different strains would be great, but I'm perfectly satisfied with the 5-10 strains I usually have access to, as they're constantly changing.
I will admit that clubs definitely are the best place bar none to go for concentrated THC stuff and totally rad candy bars and other edibles.

the green cross, which is where that stuff i posted above came from.
1/4's = $85 1/2's = $155 ounce = $290 (280 special during march)
which isn't bad for high grade dank.
