so didnt have anything pressing to do so while perched on some rocks overlooking the ocean defuzzed 5 hbwr then crushed them and swigged them down with a large bottle of some crap beer
totally empty stomach,effects came on quickly
went to a local bar which has good beers on tap, ordered 2 pints, an imperial stout and an ipa, i like ordering 2 at once, that way i only tip a dollar once and i like my beer warmed up a bit to bring out the flavor
was in a very calm controlled mindset, had some people from camp pendelton sitting at my table and turned them on to some good local beer and had some heavy conversations about 1 of them going over to iraq,strange how when your tripping the eye contact takes on intense effects, looking into peoples eyes u can sense if your making them uneasy or connecting, we agreed that if his superiors try to get him to do some stupid shit he should tell them to fuck off,i made some generalized comments like "protect your powerbase" u know the kind of shit u say while tripping
beer was taking me forever to drink, tasted so thick and rich, i ended up with about a quarter of each pint left in the glass
at one point an insane woman entered the bar and was roaming around talking to herself and giving off some evil vibes, i think she was tweaking and the effects of her behaviour really put me on guard, tripping around nutcases isnt fun, why the people running the place didnt kick her out i have no idea, they didnt have a bouncer per se
left the bar and road my bike along the ocean up the coast,cops were everywhere at 1 point made heavy eye contact with 1 in a cruiser, definetly felt the need to lock the bike up and get on foot to blend in better
made it back home safely and meditated on the fact that the most important aspect of life is to be as calm as possible at all times and that it takes alot of effort to accomplish this, seeing all the out of control mentally ill people roaming the planet really becomes pronounced while on lsa
i gotta say i dont really like lsa and i dont think it is all that great of an experience but i have around 40 left so i guess i,ll use them up

funny I just had a conversation about this same thing. It seems like one area where tripping has the potential for great benefit--revealing that complex web of emotional communication--the great effect we have on one another, through facial expressions, body languages--signals that seem almost automatic and beyond our control. Tripping makes that stuff stand out like crazy--
we were also thinking, -why are some people calm, and why others are in such torment? Part of it has to do with life circumstances, of course... but to what extent is your level of happiness predetermined? To what extent can it be changed through effort. Why do some people mature into self-realized old men and women with laugh lines and seemingly effortless warmth. How to get there? I like how in yoga you're working to end the suffering of all beings--you start from there--and you work towards this goal by practicing being calm, happy. I'll take a psychedelic and see my great potential for sending pain or cheer into the world--then spiritual practices - yoga/meditation/awarness/presence- gives me a way to work at trying to achieve those exuberant declarations you can make while tripping... eg "I'll never be afraid again!" You can glimpse the potential on drugs, then the task begins of reigning in your neuroses and creating a habit/pattern of calmness, control, happiness. it takes discipline, I like the idea of working for the betterment of the vibrations in your general quadrant of the universe--seems like a worthy task to take up.

right on,u ever read any krishnamurti, check out "the first and last freedom" he was the anti guru, he breaks down the human condition like few others, thats his best book
but ya psychedelics can play a huge role in self awareness and working on the mental aspect of life, next up another ayahuasca trip
