 "Shroomerite"

When I joined the Shroomery back in '98 I learned the term 'Shroomerite' for the first time. It was like an elite club. I spent most of my time hanging out in #shroomery with BrAiN, Fett, Ythan, Pnut and PK. I wanted to be a Shroomerite, but I had to earn it.
I never truly felt like I had earned Shroomerite status until I started moderating OTD in 1999 with CJ and Doobs.
These days any dickhead with a scat folder and a registered account can waltz in here and call himself a Shroomerite. Fucking noobs.

I didn't really feel like a "Shroomerite" until I went to my first gathering.

LOL...
for me it was partly my second mushroom grow and partly my trades that made me feel a part (a distant one but still)
hopfully someday i'll get to meet some more of you guys somewhere around the world
