 Fantasy Baseball - slackers begone.

We might have to pare it down to 8 teams or something this year. How many did we have last year? 10 or 12? Either way about half of the people or more dropped out. Before I even create a league I want to reach out and see who is interested in playing. If you are a newcomer, please be aware we get real sore and sour at people who drop off if they're not doing too well after the couple of months. Please only play if you're going to play the whole season!
So post here if you're interested in the 2008 league and post whether you'd like to do Rotisserie or Head-to-head.
I'm going to guess I can count on the following people to be interested:

I'm in captain.
I'd kinda like to do Rotisserie again. I didn't fully understand the workings of it when the season began last year, but I clearly do now. Or maybe we can do two leagues, one of each, but that is probably too much for most people.

I think Rotisserie is definitely the way to go, personally.

You know I'm good to go and you know my position. Head to head is not good if you don't have season long devotion from everyone. That means people fighting to avoid the cellar, too. I think Cowgold will be good if he still wants in. He didn't quit.

I'd love to play, but won't if it's rotisserie again. I didn't like that at all. I still played the full season, but didn't enjoy it  I will absolutely commit to playing the full season in a head to head league, as always.

Dear deadHead; Like I said, you were a poster child for my argument against head to head. You weren't the only one though. Out of the 12 teams we had in the league 5, that's right 5, didn't actively manage their teams. Yarry, Ripple, lysergicide, you and whoever had the Sconnies. I don't know if Deadmaker bailed so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but that is still almost half of the league that quit at some point. That is not dreadful in a rot league but it totally fucks up head to head.
I am not advocating that you not get an invite, just that head to head is a bad idea with a bunch of slackers in the league. The reasons are so obvious to me that I don't know why anyone would continue to move for head to head with this community. Other communities, sure. This one, no.
