No you didn't man, sorry. I check the League Activity page all the time and you had 2-3 week periods of not updating your lineup, though you did, while in last place or second-to-last, return to updating your rotation daily in August, after missing good chunks of June and July.

Dear deadHead; Like I said, you were a poster child for my argument against head to head. You weren't the only one though. Out of the 12 teams we had in the league 5, that's right 5, didn't actively manage their teams. Yarry, Ripple, lysergicide, you and whoever had the Sconnies. I don't know if Deadmaker bailed so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but that is still almost half of the league that quit at some point. That is not dreadful in a rot league but it totally fucks up head to head.
I am not advocating that you not get an invite, just that head to head is a bad idea with a bunch of slackers in the league. The reasons are so obvious to me that I don't know why anyone would continue to move for head to head with this community. Other communities, sure. This one, no.

ill tell you now I am not a slacker..ive been playing fantasy baseball via yahoo since 2002...and last year was my first roto league. like i said maybe it was lack of experience...maybe i went on dry spells not updating my team..but with head to head, i am more likely to pay attention all season. like i said this was 1 of 4 leagues for me last year, and easily the least paid attention to because it was roto.

Your excuse is utterly irrelevant to my point which is, once again, that having disappearing owners fucks up the competition in head to head leagues far more than in Roto. Because of the nature of this community it would be foolish to expect that will change. Maybe for you it will but somebody else will have to be in the desert next year. It doesn't matter. In a Roto league they only fuck themselves. In head to head they skew the competition. That's why there are competition rules in all the major sports. You aren't allowed to tank games no matter how much you suck.

I slacked off by mid year being in the middle of the pack, I paid much closer to the money league I was in for obvious reasons and actively managing two teams on a daily basis takes a lot of attention.
