 Marijuana Brochure my mom picked up

so my mom picked up this brochure from her friend on how to keep kids away from marijuana or whatever and it has a bunch of "facts" which they claim to be scientific and true. she's gullible as hell and since she accidentally ate my pot brownie, she's seen the "terrors" of weed and keeps trying to prove to me how bad it is for me trying to get me to quit.
here's some text from the brochure that make me 
"Marijuana can lead to a host of health, social, and behavioral problems at a crucial time in kids' life"
"Smoking marijuana is just as bad as smoking cigarettes, and you already know how dangerous tobacco smoke is to your health."
"More kids enter drug rehabilitation for marijuana than for all other illegal drugs combined."
"If you're smoking marijuana, you could do things that jeopardize your future, like having sex or doing other drugs."
"Marijuana use is associated with violent behavior. Kids who use marijuana weekly are four times more likely to engage in violent behavior than those who don't."

Most of those (except the violent behavior one) have a shred of truth to them. Obviously though, they are overhyped and hide the truth through supposedly non-normative statements

This is more conjecture than fact.. True, teens should be getting out and engaging in healthy activity rather than being stoned and watching cartoon network all day long... However this line is greatly exaggerated. Helen Lovejoy is out somewhere bellyaching "Someone think of the children!"

Actually cigaretessses are worse because of thier addictive properties, extra-additives, and frequency of use. And no, I dont already know how dangerous tobacco smoke is to my health... why dont you try to brainwash me some more w/ your TV propaganda.

I suppose this is a good thing, Marijuana is less mild than alcohol.
And is only ILLEGAL for political reasons.

ha... her response was going to get me that brochure... i think they pumped her with thorazine or something to calm her down in the hospital, everyone thought it was a panic attack.
the only good thing she says came from it was it was delicious to have with her tea.

That's because of all the diversion programs. Kids get busted with a joint and are made by the court, or their lawyer to go to rehab. It drastically reduces the sentence for drug charges.
