Yeah... if SW is out of stock, you'll probably want to see if you can strike a trade (Pan Cyans make great currency in there)... or just wait a while. I have no doubt they'll get more soon. It doesn't surprise me they are occasionally out of stock. Mex A is very popular, yet it can be a bit hard to print large quantities successfully. Perhaps this is why SW is the only vendor to even bother carrying it. Mex A is by far in the way, my favorite fungus.
Some day, I want to see Atlantis #7. I like the idea of seeing in 2 months, what it would take 3-6 months to see from the other stone producing Mexicanae strains.

Mex A myc is quite beautiful. Various three dimensional shades of white, gray and tan. Very nice to look at.
My friend, Don Quixote, grew this jar of Mex A back in his growing days.
The myc grew out in a perfect circular, crop circle-ish pattern... it even moved the rye grass seed into a beautiful halo pattern as well.
Inside the jar was a TON of sclerotia... oddly with this jar, little of it formed on the glass. Usually it does. But it is about as good a pic of Mex A myc through a jar as Don was able to take. Still pictures through glass, don't do it justice.
This jar was harvested, then the remaining grain was cased with coir... and it went on to produce even more monster stones. No fruits though. Don should've left more stones in the substrate.

Growing sclerotia is easy. All you do is inoculate a jar with a sclerotia stone producing fungus, and leave it alone, at room temp until ready to harvest.
Stones are known as sclerotia... but they are very similar to what are commonly known as truffles. They grow underground and look nothing like mushrooms. They are more like a fungus nut... in flavor and texture.
Sclerotia grows in some species, because it can survive drought, and when rain comes, fruiting can begin again.
Sclerotia producing Mexicanae can ALSO produce mushrooms... but while growing stones is easier than growing cubensis (inoculate jar... wait until done...) fruiting the Mexicanae shrooms can be a bit more difficult then fruiting cubensis.
Do some searching in the archives at the top of this forum, you won't be disappointed.

Also on page 5 of this thread. Most people say dry weight they are 2/3 as strong as cubes but I guess 2/3 to 1:1 in potency.

Mexicanae and Cubensae are safe to eat and digest. They are not poisonous. They will however, make you trip.
I'm not picking on you flavoraid. I know you know this. But a lot of n00bs will see this thread, and I want to be clear.
Before you share shrooms with others, you should understand all you can about tripping. Anything less would be potentially reckless.
If you are gonna' trip on something new, be smart. Err on the side of caution, until you know what you are doing. Don't learn your limits the hard way.
Study up. Read.
If people around here studied the effects and limits of tripping as carefully as they studied how to construct the perfect mycotub for cubensis flushes, I wouldn't have to say it.

Very true, but some people take shrooms for a safe and very calculated trip others take like 7 grams or more to lose control of their bodily functions completely. You did say share with others so me saying doing this to yourself doesn't matter is just elaborating on what you've said.
More or less I don't think you need to calculate your doses carefully which doesn't go against anything you say as long as your not putting substances into other peoples bodies.
