This point has been debunked so many times in this thread alone...
It is not a matter of strains being more potent than others... some probably are. THERE IS SIMPLY NO HARD PROOF. And to claim something as fact, without proof is not the way we should deal with mycological issues in the Cultivation Forum. More misinformation gets spread that way...
Dung does not aid in potency (although many people have a favorite substrate) poo aids in bulk, battles contamination and holds extra water. More and bigger shrooms = more trips... and larger doses. 
There are simply too many variables when it comes to potency to say anything with certainty... unless you are weighing all of the active chemicals in every single shroom you grow.
Please review this thread for further discussion of potency. There is no sense in repeating it all every time someone fails to read what has already been covered.
You don't have to agree that a cube is a cube... but unless you can prove otherwise it is better than stating the unproven. In general, all cubes will make you trip... and for every strain you think is potent, there is someone out there who disagrees.

A cube is a cube. I know because there's so much debate about potency for each strain.
One person will say it's great/the most potent strain, the next person says, "No way. Fuck that strain, this one is way more potent." Then the first person says, "That strain wouldn't get me high on 5 grams."
The arguement goes round and round.

I never stated that it was a fact I only gave my opinion. I'm no expert to be giving fact. Only from what I've learned from experience. I've taking a gram hear and gotten kind of high then taken a gram there and gotten so High I didn't even know who I was. SO it's all in peoples personal experience.
In my opinion " A cube is a cube " is the oldest tiredest saying I've ever heard that people repeat in these forums over and over like it is fact. I just disagree.

I must say a cube is a cube is related to growth parameters. All cube strains have an identifying characteristic as Cervantis has pointed out. Potency can be shitty if your substrate, fruiting conditions suck for any strain but there are definately strains that are overall more potent and/or visual.
That I'd say is a fact.

Like I said, a cube is a cube (potency and all, you're never gonna have a cube be azure potent, unless your that one mad scientist fucking with tryptophan), but individual results WILL vary.

Yup... once you have tried Ps. Cyans... Azures... Cope Cyans hell, even Mexicana A strain... you'll understand. A cube is a cube.
The differences in potency from one cube, "Strain" to another are nothing compared to the differences in potency BETWEEN SPECIES.
If you want a DIFFERENT trip... or MORE POTENCY... stop trying to do it with cubes. Grow another type of fungus. I promise. From Mexicanae to Copelandia... and everywhere in between... you'll see GREAT DIFFERENCES IN POTENCY and you'll notice the trips themselves are DIFFERENT too.
Once you move away from cubes... you simply learn.

I'm thinking the last real potent trip I had was a gram I bought off the streets in downtown SF. It was the highest shroom trip I ever had. A level 5 for sure. I didn't even know who I was. I'm thinking It was probably Ps Cyan since they grow out here during winter.
I'm also trying my first Ps Cyan grow. I got the spores. I'm just waiting on a replacement sawdust/grain spawn bag since the last one was contam. I can't wait to give them a try.

Simply a unique looking wood lover only appearing at the northern Island of NZ.
It never opens it's cap to spread any spores, so it's dependent and animals eating it to "shit" out the spores.
From what I've heard it's supposed to be very potent.

another thing ppl must realize about potencey is each individual's body chemistry differs so 1 person could eat a gram and not trip while another person could eat a gram and completey trip balls.

I did read that, however, I'm not one of those people who "love" the taste of shrooms.
It's ok, but occasionally will make me gag a little.
