Substrate impact on isolated stain?

Could I test out isolations on small brf cakes, determine which isolation had required qualities, and then use the "best" isolation on a different substrate... wbs, poo and get similar results as the test cakes?

Sure. I've never seen a great performer on one substrate, that failed to perform well on a different substrate, provided the choice is appropriate for the species. RR
