As long as we have shroom ratings i dont think they should be permenant.

People change, and so do opinions. As long as we have a rating system, you should allow us to re-rate users: "You have rated this user a 1. Would you like to change your rating?"
There have been many times that I wanted to change my rating of other people, it should be dynamic.

I concur, the rating should allow for change. It's kind of hard being locked into one rating, when the person may have changed, or you may have misunderstood the person when you first rated them.
You could modify the php code on that page to always display a little ratings "form" with a selection menu and a submit button; make "selected" the current ratings value in the selection pulldown menu; and always allow an update post to the db from that page.

It should be an easy mod (1/2 hour), but then I don't know what all's under the hood. Some of those new smog-emission systems can be a bitch... 
PS: It just occurred to me that some of those kind of mods can be a bitch with off the rack stuff, because whenever you upgrade, you need to keep track of all the custom mods you did, and then re-code them into the new upgraded software...

Plese, go to http://community.infopop.net/2/OpenTopic?a=cfrm&s=729094322&f=8233088913 and look in the forums if something like this is planned in the newer versions of the UBB software.
If not, you can request it.
If many people request it, the chance that it will be implemented in the newer versions might be higher.

I like that idea. Because there have been many times when I have given someone one rating and then thought later on that I could have given them some thing diffrent.
