Well I got some new albums of 2008, here are the ones I enjoyed, I have UPed a lot so I'll let amazon do the description for me...
Well no Amazon description for it but this is a good record, very dreamy noise pop with the infusion of indierock, give it a listen it will grow on you.
Quote: Bon Iver’s hermit indie-folk (story goes Justin Vernon recorded the album on his own during time spent secluded in the woods) delivers the kind of spare intimacy that only a home-recorded solo album can. For Emma, Forever Ago sounds a bit desolate, admittedly lonely, an enigmatic one-way communication. But, it’s awfully beautiful. Vernon’s disarming falsetto which sounds like Christopher Cross crossed with Antony Hegarty, oddball tape loops, distorted synthesizers, and nods to modern R&B ("Blindsided") create nuance in otherwise straightforward songs. "Creature Fear" showcases Vernon’s imaginative songwriting--take the robust chorus that boldly appears seemingly out of nowhere and later, "For Emma" swells bolstered by a soaring slide-guitar, recalling the best of Calexico. To my ears, Bon Iver’s music is nearly an homage to great ‘70s AM-radio singer-songwriter staples like Seals & Crofts or America, just without the promise of ever whiling away a carefree afternoon driving a sun-drenched highway or sailing off into the sunset. --Gabi Knight
Quote: Acclaimed for their innovative sound and candid, evocative lyrics, Elbow has received vast critical acclaim and been endorsed by major artists Blur, R.E.M. and U2. Elbow return with a new album, "The Seldom Seen Kid", their follow up to 2005's universally acclaimed Leaders Of The Free World and first for Fiction/Geffen Records. In support of the new set Elbow will be coming stateside kicking things off with a show in New York City April 26, 2008 at Webster Hall.
Quote: Seventh Tree unveils an Alison Goldfrapp quite different to the one we saw on her career highpoint to date, 2005's Supernature. Whereas that album was grandiose, glammy, and almost aggressive in its brash, thrusting sexuality, Goldfrapp's fourth album is no less sensual, but rather more subtle in its approach. Recorded with longtime collaborator Will Gregory out in rural Somerset, Seventh Tree feels like an attempt to fuse the pagan folk of cult English horror classic The Wicker Man< to a lush backdrop of woozy electronics and a restrained orchestral sweep reminiscent of '70s-era Serge Gainsbourg. In practise, this means much of Seventh Tree goes where earlier Gainsbourg disciples such as Air have gone before: chilled-out, soporific electronica with a light organic edge. Luckily, Goldfrapp remains a compelling enough figure to keep matters on the right side of ethereal: the gorgeous "Clowns" imagines the Cocteau Twins' Liz Fraser guesting on some long-forgotten Nick Drake out-take, rustic folk with an all-but-indecipherable vocal and an undercurrent of desolation, while "A&E" shows Goldfrapp's pop urge has not deserted her, uplifting electronica with a warm, bucolic twist. --Louis Pattison
Quote: 2008 debut album from the Cardiff-based seven-piece. Recorded in Canada and produced by David Newfeld (Broken Social Scene) the album is a frenetic mix of Indie Pop inspired by the likes of Architecture In Helsinki, Pavement and Bis. It's been a hugely eventful year for the band: a right-of-passage, roller coaster, massively exciting kind of year, that's seen them make an impressive dent globally, experience an avalanche of 'firsts', and subsequently proved their mettle as a Pop collective of huge potential...and all before they've even released their debut album! 11 tracks. Wichita.
Quote: Philadelphia's Man Man have found the perfect berth for their gypsy-swamp-rock-carny-soul-Viking-vaudeville-punk collective. This record matches the fierce energy of their non-stop live shows, which utilize a variety of more traditional instruments (accordion, Moog, xylophone) along with such noisemakers as soup pots, shoes, squeaky toys, and a fire extinguisher. With a following that sells out clubs coast to coast and with a kinetic stage presence, Man Man are a musical contagion waiting to happen. They've toured with Cat Power, Arcade Fire, and Modest Mouse.
Quote: Hugely anticipated 2008 from the UK Electronic outfit. It's been ten long years since PNYC and the wait is over! Third is the 2008 album from Portishead. They are a trip-hop group from Bristol, England, named after the nearby town of the same name. 11 tracks.
Different sound, but its growing on me, maybe a few more listens
Quote: Miracle Fortress is the brainchild of Graham Van Pelt, a Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who in this incarnation builds wall of sound pop songs in the tradition of Brian Wilson and Brian Eno. Originally from Stratford, Ontario, Graham is also a member of Montreal's Think About Life (Alien8 Recordings). He began to record as Miracle Fortress after co-founding the multi-functional art space/venue/studio space Friendship Cove with local artist Jack Dylan in Montreal's Griffintown in late 2005. A 5 song EP, Watery Grave, led to a collaboration with Secret City Records in 2006 to record a full length LP. Graham spent a larger part of the year building into the Friendship Cove studio and recording the Miracle Fortress debut, taking time out to perform as a solo act opening for bands like Love is All, Vic Chestnut, and locals Sunset Rubdown and Islands. Five Roses was completed in January 2007 and is an ambitious and engaging record of pop songs that echo My Bloody Valentine and the Beach Boys alike. It will be released in May 2007. Sunset Rubdown's Jordan Robson-Cramer (who also plays on the B-side to the first single), Telefauna's Adam Waito, and SS Cardiacs' Jessie Stein have recently joined Graham in the live lineup of Miracle Fortress.
From the 4 songs on it, same animal collective but mixing in some of the style from feels and sung tongs, listen to it a few times and I bet you'll be waiting like me for the full album release.
it's a precracked version of winrar, no worries about trial or keys or anything.
if you don't know how to dload with bittorrent, then learn. it's rather easy. just dload and install utorrent. then when you follow that first link i gave you and select "download torrent", utorrent will automatically pop up. select where you want to send the winrar file, press "ok" and it'll dload.
since that pre-cracked winrar is so small, it shouldn't take but a minute or two to dload.
SPSmush you the man! So far I'm really digging this Miracle Fortress. Its gonna take me a few days to get all the way through your post lol. Thanks for helping out bro. 5 shrooms.

psychedelic/prog rock/experimental wierdness band The Boredoms are a rock outfit hailing from Japan. Much of their music has been often described as confrontational, challenging, 'too fucking noisy', etc. But their record here from 2001 I think you guys will like a lot actually. It's more accessible than Super Ae but still way, way out there.
I'm simply going to provide you with amazon.com's review of 'Vision Creation Newsum', since the writer articulates the elements of this album much better than i could...
'On Vision Creation Newsun, the Boredoms continue to pursue the phoenixlike transformation first revealed on 1998's Super Ae, rising from rock's modern primitives to become elemental prog-mired magi. This nine-track song cycle features symbols for titles. The 13-minute opening track is an epic paean to new-eon sun worship that centers on a circular rock riff, a firestorm of free-form tribal drums, and snatches of Beach Boys-style vocal harmonies that burn out in a haze of sweeping analogue synths. It sets the tone for what is to follow. Successive tracks bleed blissfully into one another, an ebb and flow of elemental energy riding successive waves of distortion and clear blue sound. Time signatures are perverted with phase and delay. Like the movement of a tape loop around the spools, the slack is reined into a tight merciless groove backing lunar chants and solar madrigals. So expansive it literally defies description, Vision Creation Newsun provides an infinitely rewarding listening experience. --Chris Campion'
