THANKS A LOT! You just made my day. Also thanks for the TV on the Radio album. I hear that David Bowie is endorsing them quite a bit and even did some backing vocals on one of their songs.
Haha, I'm finally going through this thread and actually downloading a bunch of shit, and I got to this comment. No way in hell is the MGMT album better than the Vampire Weekend CD upon further listening.
And TRB, I hate to be picky, but can you up Spoon's A Series of Sneaks separately, I already have the other three.

Another CD I grabbed up on Pitchfork's recommendation. It's pretty laid back stuff, I haven't listened to it more than once, but I enjoyed it.
And I used Megaupload because Divshare was being a bitch and not working for me for some reason. Hope it works.

My feelings exactly...I almost uploaded it myself.
That first track 'Wedding Bell' is pretty damn groovy though...reminds me of Broadcast's early stuff, and even has a hint of Led Zeppelin's 'Down By The Seaside' to it in in the guitar hook. Awesome song. Good album.

This is officially the best thread I've ever come across. Thanks guys!

Great album. Lazy Eye is actually one of the weaker tracks. Probably my least favorite. I'm glad I heard these guys and actually gave them a chance, rather than throwing them in with the rest of the mess of radio bands nowadays. Their fluid style really stuck in my head though. They have a great groove about them. I'll try to upload Caranvas, but my borrowed wifi connection has been really difficult lately. It may take a few days. I'll try it now... cross your fingers.
edit: added a song. one of the better ones. a preview for all who haven't heard them.
wow spsmush, thanks for being a great contributor. though, d'you think you could maybe just give a short 1 line description of albums as you post them? something as simple as the genre (indie-pop, electro, ambient, post-rock, whatever) would be great.
