My girlfriend and I have talked about this for over a year but haven't hooked up yet. We've kinda been hoping to keep it all quiet, I mean between and one other person. We've looked at all the online dating sites; adultfriendfinder, xmatch, and camazon, none panned out. There were a few acquaintances we tried courting and a few friends of friends. But they turned out to be looking for commitment with a man.

We didn't want to ruin any good friendships so we kinda looked at acquaintances and friends of friends.

Well if you are wanting to be picky and find just the right person then you have to expect it to take a little time.
Personally I don't think I could do the online websites to find someone. That seems worse than the bar scene IMO. At least at a bar you can talk to the person before making a decision. Why does everyone assume that a person you meet at a bar is automatically a whore?
