 About to eat my first magic mushrooms and I'm scared

I spent the last six months reading this site, and the last two months growing my own. I have 1.5 grams of dried mushrooms - two small specimens, sitting here on my lap. Yes, a smaller dose to start, to see what happens.
The first snows arrived last night, and it continues to snow this early morning. It feels like the right time to take these mushrooms. But I am afraid.

Your are a complete bitch. You shouldn't be tripping on mushrooms at all.
You take the time to grow your own and then are scared of a 1.5g dose????
You might not even feel much on that dose, and if you do it's not gonna be overwhelming at all. You're a complete waste of mushrooms. If i grew my own i would be tripping balls right now.

You should understand that you would get a much better response in the other forums.
May I suggest that you post this in the Phyedelic Experience forum?
Your situation is very understandable.
My first dose was one gram, all I had grown off one PF gone invitro. Really, you probably can't have a bad trip, but you won't be acting normal. You'll be having a fun time, and if anyone sees you, they'll think it's odd you're laughing so much and having so much fun.
Trip alone or with a buddy and have fun! You won't regret it and I guarentee that you'll have a great time.
Probably no hallucinations at that dose to worry about. The only thing I noticed on my first dose, for hallucinations, was that outside was very colorful and there were hundreds of mushrooms growing in the grass. Also, it appeared that my penis was steadily becoming smaller until it was just a pile of skin. That was the funniest part, it was so interesting.
Anyway! Enjoy! You will, I'm sure. Go ahead! Maybe make a trip report? I made one, basically typing everything I felt. It was awesome.
I went around the house on adventures. It took me two hours to go to the kitchen and back to get popcorn, and the entire time I took my mobile notepad and wrote everything down (all over the place).
When I was typing, I kept losing my curser and typing all over the place. Up and down the page I typed.
Most fun I've ever had in my life. Eating popcorn was amazing.

Yea i had some reservations, but i was eating 3x what the OP is eating my first time and i wasn't being a bitch about it. What did he expect to do with these mushrooms that he put so much time into growing??
