 How to Get "Let's Grow Mushrooms!" for Free

An option for those of you who don't wish to purchase your own copy is to request your local library to put a few copies of the DVD set into their collection. This is easy to do. If you're in a small town, simply ask the librarian to see if he or she can get it for you. If you're in a larger city, your library most likely has a website that you can request them to order books from.
The DVD is available from both of the largest distributors to library systems.

Not that I am advocating it but your video already is for free whereas a quick search on certain torrent sites brings it up. Good luck.

About all I can hope for is to depend on the basic honesty of a majority of the people. I spent two years of my life and several tens of thousands of dollars to produce that video, so I'd really appreciate not calling attention to ways to steal it in my thread. Anyone who can grab a torrent can just as easily order it from their local library.

It would differ by causing there to be no more videos produced. If the costs can't be recovered, there is no incentive for more.
People who check out items from libraries often purchase a copy for their own collection. Uploading copyrighted material is not only stealing, but against the law.

Yep, and it is great to actually see something done rather to read it. Specially the grain tec(s), and the agar work. Sure you could search and find all that info, but I am sure for any tec or method you find, you could also find someone who can "prove" it is not the right way to do it. At least in the DVD you know everything has been tried and tested by RR.

from the "samples" on your website, you did a wonderful job on the video.
i wouldnt mind checking out the entire video, so i am gonna try your suggestion....
i would buy the set, but times are tough ( no $$$ ) , and most of it would be a refresher.

We've had a few library orders over the last month. Anybody receive notice they have your video at the library yet?
Also don't forget, there's more than one shroomery vendor who stocks 'Let's Grow Mushrooms', and they offer it for $10 less than you can buy it on my website. Just a heads-up.

Starting in March, I'll be helping a public school class of 8th graders learn to grow mushrooms. I've agreed to supply all the expertise, materials, and spawn for the kids to use except the bulk substrate materials, which they'll collect themselves from what other people throw away.
They'll be gathering newspapers, phonebooks, garden and farm waste, tree trimmings, etc., as part of a recycling program they're learning. The slogan for this project is 'Turning Trash to Food'. The kids will do the work and I'll be filming it all for my 'Recycling With Mushrooms' DVD, due for release this fall, if all goes well.
I'll start them out on pf type cakes, inoculated with oyster, shiitake, lion's mane, reishi and a few other species that I'll make mycelium syringes from. They'll then use half of their 1/2 pint cakes to inoculate bulk substrates, and the other half to fruit in perlite humidified terrariums. Wish me luck please. The school project can really be the catalyst to take mushrooms and my DVDs mainstream.
I'm glad some local libraries are getting the DVD in. Keep asking people.
