haven't the time to hunt currently, but the luck came to me out in my greenhouse I guess...
Last year I found a few pan subbs growing in my families garden, and ended up burying them in different planters of mine in hopes of them ever coming up, I had so few anyways... coincidence? this is one of the pots in which I buried a dried pan subb.

if not obvious enough, heres a blue pin that was tipped over next to them...

I was in St. Louis and St. Charles MO over the weekend and saw many subbs throughout both cities. Near all the major attractions… that big park with all the walking trails and captive animals, near that place with all the plants in awesome geodesic green houses, and near that one big structure where people are occasionally arrested for leaping with their parachutes (trying to be vaguely non specific)
I imagine a little sub tea would render the City Museum even more rad.
So if you live in either of these locations might I recommend long meandering walks.

is this one?
I'm seeing these everywhere in mulch at a certain apartment complex. I think they're subbs, but I haven't had much luck with finding the correct ones (found lots of sphinctrinus and possibly some foes), so I tend to pass them by.
If this is one, I'm going gathering next time I'm at that property.

Looks like it's growing from woodchips, probably a psathyrella. You know how to post a proper ID request by this point though.

yeah, I didn't collect this one though, didn't think it was worth the time. I might get a few next time I'm over there and sporeprint them, etc.
I need to look for the lines on the stems. That seems to be the part I'm not checking for.
