If all the grafts took, there'd be nine rooted plants feeding one growing tip. The point is accelerated growth (and fun too).

no actually Pereskiopsis is a cactus. the thing that gave it away was its spines and Aeroles.

heres some of the bigger ones.... they are really plumping up now 
also the one with roots has them because.... it has an overhang I noticed I have pups on the big Pedros shooting out roots and Pereskiopsis also does the same thing. but the graft sure is growing awful fast for not having a good connection. I think it is receiving plenty of water from the Pereskiopsis. normal grafts don't do this because they have no overhangs

ya know, CPW, doing this to a peyote would look FAR more octopus like....smooth, roundish etc....when are you gonna do one of those. I may make myself a "Nephila williamsii"
