I've wanted to for so long now, but it just seems like a lot of work. I do want to try some pure mescaline. I wish it was as common as LSD.

I would rather buy some cuttings from a store than online but I don't know exactly where would have san pedro or peruvian torch.

It's easy as pie and great stuff. First go to a respected website, get about a foot and a half or so of some san pedro, and then do one of the many extraction methods available, I know for a fact the everclear one works awesome. :thumbup:

I didn't do any evaporating, the stuff was potent enough as is. And yes, I'm sure there is plenty of mescaline still in that muck in the jar, I'm just all out of everclear. I'm in VA where, unfortunately, you can't buy it; it'll be sitting under my kitchen sink 'till next time I go to Asheville.

The "tar ball" method is a good one: downside- messy, sticks to your pan, also takes longer to kick in.

I'll probably do this with the next 6-10 oz of liquor I put in the pedro mud. But knowing the first 6 shots of black/green mescaline-laced everclear would be the most potent, we opted to just drink it straight up. It hits you a lot quicker and you get a nice alcohol buzz while you wait. Besides, green everclear seemed like a great way to dose on St. Patty's day!

Again, this isn't a "tek" and certainly not an accurate way to gage dose but when it comes to me and mescaline.... I can't enough!

I spent a lot of loot on chemicals for a mescaline extraction on 750g of dried cactus and it's been nothing but a pain in my ass. Well, that's not totally true, it's been kind of fun, but all the time I've put into siphoning, hanging around paint thinner and muriatic acid, freezing and evaporating.....I wish I would have saved the stuff. I do have 5g of (I'm assuming) very pure, white mescaline and I keep getting more from each pull but I'm fucking done with it.

This A/B extraction is a great way to extract some DMT but for Mesc., I feel it just isn't worth the time and effort.

It basically consists of letting dried cactus powder sit in everclear for a few days, straining with a coffee filter, and reducing through evaporation or heat assisted(sp?) (like a stove) evaporation and downing a couple of shots of mescaline everclear. The important part is to be careful and keep flames away from the everclear!! It might not be the best idea to reduce the everclear using a gas stove.

I think I will just boil a shit ton down to the "tar ball" you speak of. use a sacrificial pot.

Is it worth it to use the core?

here we go right here (from brewmaster):

I've been saying this a lot in the past couple weeks but just for the sake of conversation...

I let 200 grams of dried torch powder sit in a glas jar with enough everclear to saturate the material plus an additional 6 shots (roughly). Shook it once every few days unti I was going to use it; although the liquor immediately turned black and separated a few hours later. (I believe this is THE quickest and easiest way to dose cactus (not the most accurate)). I probably could have drank it as soon as it separated.

I poured the black liquor through a coffee filter, leaving the pedro mud in the original jar. This was that extra 6oz. At this point, you can water it down to accurately dose as many people as needed (per volume your working with)

In the original concentration (190 proof) it only took 2 shots of liquor to provide me with a pleasant 14 hour trip.

Best way I've found to do mescaline. No lengthy boils, no messy extractions, no evaporations- just soak and swallow.

ahh, butt a piece of piss to make into powder, ya just gotta slice it and throw it in a dehydrator for 'bout 10 hours and then into a blender. Real easy.

I usually just make tea. Do a search for MJshroomer's san pedro tea tek. Its simple, take a foot of pedro per person, chop, add water, blend, boil, strain, drink w. an OJ chaser.

It doesn't taste great but its really not as bad as people make it seem, and you trip for like 14 hours. Well worth it. Mescaline is cool stuff, you can get really deep without any fear. Good for personal insights and what not. And last time me and my girlfriend did it we had ghosts flying around our darkened living room. Its the real deal.

I am going to have to boil it down quite a bit more this time then, The taste is horrid, worse than I have ever had.

Any tips on getting a smaller amount of substance without burning the material?

a friend of mine told me he smoked cactus with some natives, is this possible?

Everclear runs about 17 bucks a bottle in wisconsin. However a much cheaper method witch I haven't gotten around to trying yet is the isopropyl alchohol method, this method is much like using everclear, except when your reducing it you absoloutly(sp?) must get rid of all the alcohol because this sort of alcohol is poisonous, so you basically boil it all out and then let it dry even more for a couple of days. I personally prefer everclear because then I can relax in the a lil' alcohol buzz while I wait for the mescaline to kick in.
