the whole thing is white. ifound it on a hill side by a tree and some moss in K.Y. the steam is hollow. the cap is smooth.

Damn, in that pic you can't even tell the difference between a dime and a washer. Definantly not a cube... doesn't look like it's bruising blue either... Are you just picking randoms shrooms, comming back with them and asking us about them on the hope that you'll get lucky???

Bruising blue is a good indication that the mushroom has psilobin in it. This is what gives the mushroom it's kick and distinguishes it from the normal type of mushroom, that you put in your mouth, swallow and poop out. HOWEVER! It should be noted in triplicate that just becuase a mushroom bruises blue, doesn't mean that it is safe to eat.
Go to the hunting forum, read up. Soon you will be hunting with relative confidence.

It's hard to tell but it looks like Russula sp. It should have white to beige spore print.

I would have to go with russela too...although I don't think anyone can tell for sure with that picture.
