 Beta Blockers (Propranolol) and MDMA?

I'm currently taking 10mg Propranolol (a beta blocker) daily for social anxiety disorder (nothing heart/blood pressure related, I am very healthy and exercise 4 times per week).
If the half life of Propranolol is 3-5 hours, would I be safe doing ecstasy say... 12-24 hours after my last dose of Propranolol? If not, how long should I wait? :/

I'd imagine if the half life is 5 hours, then by 10 you should be ok but I can't be completely sure about that... sorry. I know drinking probably isn't going to be the best idea, but i've done it and been fine. Certainly not to excess and that isn't saying it's safe at all, but again i'd think some Ecstasy well after the half-life should be ok if that didn't kill me... never tried that combination specifically however. I do have a question for you though, if you don't mind. I have some 10mg Propranolol as well, prescribed for the same thing. Doesn't really seem to do anything for me, so i'm just wondering if you could explain how it helps you or what you get out of it. Just wondering what i'm missing.

Well Propranolol doesn't seem to help the anxiety itself, it prevents and physical symptoms associated with anxiety (ex. shaking, heart racing, palpitations).
