You're ranges are waaaaay to small. People on here have hefty collections for the most part it seems.

Im at about 110GB here...
But that is me and my wife. I have many times that more GBs in shows, movies, books and other media.
edit-Yea remake he poll. Make the upper limit like a few hundred.

Still Way too small...Hell, I have 70-80 just in Dead/DSO...Plus my reg. collection...prolly 300+ cd's, and, yes, 100+ cassettes

mp3's count? I thought we were talking cd or vinyl here and voted 50-60... if mp3's count than, uh, a lot more? what do the numbers represent, albums? songs? GB's?

There should be a second part of the poll where it asks around how many actual songs that is. Video content shouldn't really count for size in a music collection. Unless it's signing music or something like that I suppose.

I've only got 5074 with 33gb. A bunch of my music is on about 300 vinyls though. I've been meaning to look into something along the lines of a vinyl to mp3 turntable hookup but haven't gotten around to it.

That would be extremely inefficient. It would take you many, many days of time encoding and tagging all of that music. And the quality would not be good. Instead you could easily download 300 albums in a couple days max, with little attention and work on your part, and high quality encoding.
Think about this- I dont even take the time to rip my old fashioned CDs to MP3. It takes too long, I can download a CD in less then five minutes. And it comes with quality encoding and ID3 tags already set up. When my wife wants one of her CDs on MP3 player, I immediately go to Oinks.
