"T. terscheckii -

Tall arborescent Native to Catamarca, Argentina.

Contains: mescaline, trichocereine".....

"T. peruvianus -

Also known as the Peruvian fence post. This cactus is fast becoming popular, as it is almost as fast growing as San Pedro, but with a higher content of mescaline. Very fast growing, huge when mature, columnar. Is readily available in Peru but is rare as an ornamental in the U. S. This species is also known to grow on ledges and let its heavy arms, that may be up to 5 meters long, dangle over the edge of cliffs.

Some studies reported up to 10% mescaline content by dry weight but a more reasonable and believable figure is in the 1 - 3% range. It contains only a few other psychoactive alkaloids, mainly tryptamines in much lower proportions.

Contains: mescaline (0.82%), 2-chloromescaline (.02%), tyramine (.009%), 3-methoxytyramine (.01%), 3-4-dimethoxyphenethylamine, 4-hydroxy-3-5-dimethoxyphenethylamine (.004%)."

well the Terscheckii has another chem but is safer for an Aya admixture than Peruvianus

I can send ya one.  I got rid of over 40 so far

Ay! You are very correct...I actually had considered that before because it was said that it contained DMT...but it turned out to not be true...

I would not use mescaline in combo with an MAOI tho...

We discussed that in another thread...

Let me see if I can find it....

as long as it doesn't contain Tyramine.

Well be careful man...cause I know it's got something other than mescaline in it...check it out...

I wouldnt mix any cacti with an MAOI...

Actually the only thing I would ever mix with an MAOI is psychotria viridis, Diplopterys c. and 'Shrooms...

I don't think I'd mix anything esle with it...it would scare me...and I'd have a bad trip...

Looks great! How long will it take until you remove it? And when you do.... How large do you estimate it to be?

well it is a year and a half old now.  It was stunted for almost a year and almost didn't make it.  Now it is growing faster and faster   the one in the background was even smaller but that too is starting to grow.
I am hoping for it to at least pass the others in growth that weren't grafted  before I cut it.

Matacuna Peruvianus hmm ok...

Mine is supposed to be from El Toromerde` or possibly the Vesemi`coolo region...

Quote:

Here's a qoute from somebody at the nook- " That is definately one of the few collected from the El Toromerde` province of south central Peru! The blue skin and red spines are give aways as is the shape of the areolar depression and size. Now put some yrs into growing it into the true specimen you have wanted, congrats. PS there is a small chance you have one of the very rare peruvians collected from the more central Vesemi`coolo region"

And everyone at the nook agreed I had the ONE, I'll try posting yours up...Could you PM me a direct link to as many pics of your T.peruvianus that your have?
