The Fallacies of Philosophical Debate
    #7372093 - 09/05/07 06:21 PM (4 years, 8 months ago)

Im glad this post was generated... and locked so very fast...

Using the tools presented, Im sure any one of us could discredit just about any idea that came to light on these forums.

I think these "Fallacies" deserve some debate before they are "locked" and deemed as "law".

Or maybe this is just "me" disobeying the "forum rules" and coming to a "conclusion" about someone else's post...

You could cut and paste quotes and debate the thread-starter, since you've already created this thread.

I disagree.

The claim, as evidence for an idea, that many people believe it, or used to believe it, or do it.

And what's keeping you from debating on them?

All this time I've loved you
And never known your face
All this time I've missed you
And searched this human race
Here is true peace
Here my heart knows calm
Safe in your soul
Bathed in your sighs
