Im interested in this topic. I think i can relate to it, if it has to do with the chakras and vibrating your energy.
I recently came under the need to use my energy because i was under, attack from a enitity that. It was when i was in a paralyzed state of conciousness shortly after waking up from a dream. I realized she had some sort of grip on me and then i vibrated my energy to the crown chakra and i was able to release myself from her grips. I cannot share the whole encounter now, as i do not have enough time now.
Lots of love! JLm

Regardie's "Middle Pillar" would pertain to western magick as related to the chakras. http://www.davedavies.com/splanet/magic3.htm
Don Kraigs "Modern Magick" is a good beginers book that deals with several aspects of magick.

93 Sorry for not responding in my ritual thread.
Sounds like a succubus, I'd strongly look into the matter if I were you. Magick is a very diverse subject. The Crowleyan definition of magick is "the art and science of causing change to occur in conformity to will". Change comes about when the present conditions are unsatisfactory. You feel that you are being attacked by an entity, so lets look at how to avoid this, by use of magick, in the future.
It would be illogical to attempt to counter attack without a thorough knowledge of the enemy. In this case, you must strengthen your subtle defenses. Here is what I recommend: 1. Learn about grounding and shielding. 2. Learn and practice the lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram nightly in the room in which you bed. 3. Learn and practice the middle pillar ritual(based on the sephira) or chakra meditation. Perhaps the latter would be better suited as you seem to have an understanding of chakras. There are many other things that you can do like burn sage before sleeping, or construct a sleeping talisman of sorts.
The rituals I mentioned before are easily found online. The versions that I use personally are Thelema based, so I would'nt want you to do them if you do'nt feel that you resonate well with the Thelemic current. It is interesting that you were able to abolish the entity by concentration on your crown chakra. Perhaps your dilemma was, in fact, caused by a chakric imbalance somewhere. Keep in mind that the key to chakra meditation is not to strengthen a particular chakra as much as possible, it is to balance all the main chakras so as to work in harmony.
I am hesitant to recommend a particular book about magick. I'm afraid that most people's interest in the subject is only a whim. It really does take a good deal of dedication and it's extremely easy to lose the way, so to speak. However, if I were to recommend a single book on magick for a beginner, it would be Magick Without Tears by Aleister Crowley, hands down. There are hordes of other books on the subject, many of which miss the mark, but you really have to discover for yourself which path suits you best, as well as which author you can relate to. Feel free to ask more questions. Edit- Oh yes, check out occultforums.com. Many trolls and fluffy bunnies, but there are a few good un's on that site, and a search will probably yeild a wealth of info upon what you are looking for. 93 93/93

Thank you for your attempt at advice. Im sure what to make of it, it feels mysterious and good. "There are many other things that you can do like burn sage before sleeping, or construct a sleeping talisman of sorts." What sort of taliman do you suggest i make? Why is it interesting that i abolished her by doing so? I assume it is not common to you.
I get it. I have been through a traumatic event, as most people would understand it to be...it made me incredibly fearful/nervous - could this have been something that off balanced me?
You know, ive talked with this entity one time when i was extremly energy less and i realized that she is here with me to learn! I wonder why she feels she needs to feed from my energy? Possibly does not yet loved herself unconditionally - like i trouble with doing aswell.
Another question is about another entity in my home. I think he is a male one(doesnt change anything?). My father knows about this one and he follows him around. My father has also had some odd occurences with crystal glasses. He has shattered two of them in seperate occasions but happening in the same fashion - with the cups into peices, beyond the possibility of it being broken by hitting it against the dish washer while loading it. Is there something else here i am missing, could this entity be also alluding my fathers behavious. im guessing it is so..Im sort of afraid of meeting with them, then again..i cannot be threatend completly - we are one infinite value.
K. Love you ! See you there.

93 Keep in mind that the succubus is said to seduce and entrance the victim while she drains the energy. Not quite sure about the male one you mention. Similar behavior would indicate an incubus. As for the talisman, I can think of a native amenican style dream catcher fitting the bill. 93 93/93

books are great. but if you need immediate results for building your electromagnetic field (psychic body) go take a kundalini yoga class. all of your chakras will be noticibly stronger after just one class. that's if you have a studio in your area...also you can pick up on pranayama (breathing techniques) and postures while in class which you notice to be especially empowering...that you can keep practicing on your own. classes are generally 15 bucks for 1 1/2 hours. or get a kundalini yoga dvd. here's one by my own personal instrcutor...http://yogabeyond.com/ ...however if you've never been to a class, the instruction from a dvd, may be a little unclear.
