I will pick the sun, even tho~ nothing that I know of is really "fixed".... Relatively, it just seems like the best choice I can think of at the moment....
Unless you mean like a line that has white-out on it, and a point drawn over the top of that....

We are travelers as Juan said, we do not have an origin nor destination.

That is a strange answer..... Are you answering a different question, or being cryptic....?

I found that answere very interesting.. Seems Kapitoshka deem the "origin (n)or destination" to be the only fixed point(s)?
Not sure though..

I can understand that, IF there are two fixed points, but with you only asking about one fixed point, "it threw me for a loop"....
I guess it really depends upon the flavor of "fixed point(s)" we are thinking about when answering....
I don't necessarily claim to be a traveler, yet here I am going from one point to the next....

i think most of the "laws" of physics are Dead WRONG. Everything we base our scientific assumptions on is moving at a speed no one is even sure of, although probably 100's of thousands of MPH. The whole solar system is moving, so is the Galaxy, and the Earth around the sun.
I think the greatest human accomplishment we could hope for in outer space is not to reach another planet or find ET, but to make an object still. Nothing in human history has ever been completely stationary. It might not even be possible.
Imagin trying to float a ship out into empty space away from gravitational Fields that would undoubtedly put it in motion, then make it stop. What would it be like?
while your thinking about that question let me remind you, Nothing has ever been still. Something as simple as a fixed point is still no more than a theory, unattainable for human research.

Every end, is a beginning, vice versa..
No?
Thus the "two" is merely one..

This I can illustrate for you, but, not in words.. (Not now.)
(I am drinking.)
Great question though!
An other way of look at this, is magnetism..
Hint hint?

It depends.... If you watch a movie from the beginning, and it ends, that is it.... The end of the movie, roll credits, done....
Now I wonder what YOUR point is....? (That is, what do you consider a fixed point being...?)

It would still be moving...
The electrons would still be in orbit of the nucleus (?)
It would also be moving forward in time
Thats just the dimensions we know about (think exist).
I don't really get this question though - Gomp, what do you mean 'fixed point' and what relationship does this have to M.R&P

Fixed point, as in e.g.; a set-, a rigid-, a solid-, etcetera.. (/-point.)
(I suggest a dictionary.)
And; what relation(-ship) it has, I will not limit/'narrow down'.. You deem it as you want. If you see it unfit, avoid it.. Ignore it..
