How do you feel about this day?
    #7353885 - 08/30/07 11:43 PM (5 years, 9 months ago)

The day has come and gone. (At least it has for anyone in East Coast USA.)

What do you think of your day today? Was it a step forward? Backward? Did you accomplish something? Learn something about yourself? Become more comfortable with yourself.

I spent the day on the move for the most part; between classes and basketball I sat and tried to keep my eyes open reading a novel for my English class. I listened to some music and now I'm about to do yoga, meditate, and read as much as I can before passing into what will hopefully be a comfortable and refreshing sleep.

I will wake up tomorrow morning with a million questions on my mind, none answerable; I will spend the whole day cooling out, constantly calming myself in the hopes of perceiving reality more directly.

Could my day have been better? Could I have experienced more joy and opened myself up more to the people around me and the situations that arose? An impossible question to answer, but if I had to take a shot I would say "yes".

i like this thread. i had thought about a such thread today as i was trying to get some job.

well i hate really elaberating on the net cause i think exchanging lifes daily pholosaphy with people around me is more direct (also it takes to long for me to funnel my thoughts through the keyboard).
i noticed allot of the time i bring things to peoples points of view or them to me. so i think thats good.

some one said if you can inspire one person then you have accomplished something.

i want to say so much but i cant. but i like this thread. id like to see it in the pub.

i am worried about you people.
too much idenfification with the transient aspects of life.

are you creating a consumers report for your diary?

sure you need to have accomplisments and make progress
but while it feels like sysiphus, your real daily progress is not visible.

unless of course you win the lottery.

My day had just started when you made this post, as I work overnights, and since it says "this" day in the subject, I think I'll stick with this day. :smirk:

I feel really good about this day. Yesterday I submitted a written notice to move out of this house in a little over a month. I fell asleep after hearing the voice of the woman I love, and woke up to the same. :heartpump: I went to work and had a good night, stayed busy but not at a frantic pace, felt it a little difficult to stay centered because I felt so tired, and now I'm home. I'll be leaving in a few to get stoned for the first time in a month, and for the last time for a month, so I'm looking foward to the opportunity to feel altered in such a way and to share the feeling with my love when I get home again.

I feel excellent about this day, because I'm looking forward to the start of a transitional period of my life with a lot of change. The future beyond this short transition will be the most beautiful, amazing thing I've ever known, beyond anything I could ever imagine, and it is ultimately the reason I am alive. :whoah: Today kicks ass. :headbang:

I wouldn't fear
For I've never known completeness
Like being here
Wrapped in the warmth of you
Loving every breath of you

He becomes used to considering as true only that which is convenient for his personal interests; everything that is in opposition to his self-esteem or in conflict with already established prejudices, he considers false."

My day was amazing and now it just turned into Bliss. :sunny:
I had you on my mind all day and felt you so much, and now, reading this, my eyes are smiling.
Each day keeps getting better and better, I am in love, and happy and I love this life and living it with you. You made my day and my life :yinyang:

:bunny::bunnyhug:
All this time I've loved you
And never known your face
All this time I've missed you
And searched this human race
Here is true peace
Here my heart knows calm
Safe in your soul
Bathed in your sighs

:bunnyhug: :yinyang2:

I have never discovered part of life that isn't transient.  I just want to learn how to appreciate it as it slips through my fingers.

You appreciate it by being in it. Remembering it is secondary and uncertain.

Uncertain, yes. Secondary - to what? Non-being?

secondary to the actual experience.
