I'm only just starting to get into Psy Trance and I was wondering if some people could recommend me some good artists. At the moment I'm just listening to Infected Mushroom and Orbital.

I know only the most famous ones like Shpongle, 1200 Micrograms, hallucinogen.

I though Shpongle was Psychedelic Ambient, not Psychedelic Trance? These genre names are unnaturally odd. Anyways, it's all good.

infected mushroom is the reason i got into psytrance, but if you want psy/goa you should only listen to the first three albums. The Gathering, Classical Mushroom and B.P. Empire are all solid albums. They, themselves, have said they are no longer a psy-only act. But if you see them live you can still feel that special vibe associated with the psy/goa scene, at least they did last year.

DigitallyImported has a really good Goa/Psytrance channel stream. If you've got Winamp you can go to www.di.fm to check it out. I personally haven't listened to it for more than a couple hours, but from what I heard, it was at the very least very decent. If some of their playlists compare half as well to their trance channel playlists, I'm sure you'll hear plenty of stuff to blow your mind.

that track is actually not shpongle, it is Posford with George B of Slinky Wizard and i think it was released at around the same time are you shpongled came out. great track, i had heard it a while back but didn't have it. thanks for uploading.
