Cloning Question

I am attempting to clone PC (Cambodian). Using malt agar in 3 petri dishes innoculated with clean inner stem flesh and being kept at 88 degrees, the question is; How long before I should notice mycelial growth?
If the answer to this is in a FAQ, I couldn't find it. If the answer to this is not finite, please give an estimate.
Finally, if this question does not belong here, I apologize in advance.
Thank you.

Usually its very fast, taking around 72hours, but it can go up to a week depending on a lot of factors.

One factor can be peroxide. It takes longer if you use it.

i don't know about your particular strain, and i clone in licuid form, or directly onto substrate, not agar. in licuid, five days is typical, direct method, you will see hyphal fuzz within 24 to 48 hours, which should become obviously rizomorphic within five days typical. i always use peroxide.

No peroxide in my malt agar, so I should see some fuzz any minute now I guess, unless there's something wrong...
Thanks guys! You're the best!
