I believe I read a thread about a month or so ago about copes andhow to identify them? It had a picture of mushies growing in a pile of hay. Maybe it wasnt copes. Shed some light?

The above document was amazing easy to create, I just copy and pasted his post in there. I thought I would have to add links to all the pictures and I really wasn't looking forward to it, and I was shocked when I saw that they were already in there.
I also thought this was cool, some information on colors used to describe mushrooms.

Interestingly the poster asked about copes,/ Alan provided here a site for Panaeolus subbalteatus. However, all Panaeolus species are provided in my post based on Gerhardt's monograph with beautiful sketches of all the common species of Panaeolus from around the world.
