japan is like an entirely different world, their traditions and customs are far removed from those in the west, while the majority of people are friendly, they are normally terrified to leave their homes out of fear. Japan is infested with giant mechanoids that wreak havoc on the major cities on a daily basis and while there are 'good' mechs trying to stop the evil ones, the ensuing fights cause severe damage to structures and great loss of life. The days where mechs are not fighting in the streets theres usually a monster or two that comes ashore to dine on the inhabitants of the island, again, the good monsters pursue, a fight breaks out and half the city is wiped out. Japan is a very dangerous place to live.

This is completely true. Thats why all japanese buildings are so high tech, they have to resist monster and mech damage. Also they have to commonly be rebuilt. Most of the population actually lives below ground in tubes. They also have personal servant robots who cater to them.
Plus their women are mega hot. since all their women are hot, the men get bored of this and have to resort to weird fetishes.

What objects are you proposing to yourself? Are they the objects you really value? If they are not, you are cheating yourself. I don't meant that if you chose to pursue the objects you most value, you will attain them; of course not. Your experience will tell you that. But success in getting after much labor what you really don't care for is the bitterest and most ridiculous failure." -George Santayana

I think Lost in Translation was a great story about some American folks who sort of found themselves in Tokyo by chance rather than being Japanophiles (manga, bukkake, schoolgirl hentai, otaku) type folks. I can relate to that, but I've taken it a step further and actually moved here. It's cool, I like it, but I don't live in Tokyo. I don't think I could live in Tokyo, but it's fun to visit. Japan, in a word, is Trippy. Cartoon pictures everywhere, people imitating cartoons with their hair, fashion, & makeup styles, elaborate and miniturized infrastructure, fast trains, slow trains, strange food, italian burritos at 7-11 and yes, cucumber Pepsi. It would be nice for Japan to develop a proper drugs culture like the states, though.

if you are into technology, you will shit a brick when you go
-------------------- Men have a fear of women who exert control of their sexualities. They know that they wouldn't be able to control or easily manipulate women who are aggressive, dominant, defiant, and refuse to passively cooperate or adhere to stereotypical gender roles. So they use social stigma and social shame and call us "sluts" to try to implant fear and guilt in us, in an effort to control and coerce our behaviors. It is a completely selfish philosophy that stems from the belief that they OWN women.
Thus, me taking control of my sexuality is my big way of saying "FUCK YOU" to the institution, and another "FUCK YOU" to the patriarchy!
