passing road side drug tests
    #7180977 - 07/15/07 09:16 PM (16 years, 8 months ago)

Do you guys in the States have drug buses?
It's getting alot more common here. In fact, every booze bus is now a drug bus as well..

I don't drive or anything, but have friends that do. And have to drive after a party/festival. And even after a nights sleep can get caught positive, as certain drugs stay in your system for days after use.

Are there any products, or drug passers that coat your mouth and would help you pass?
Anyone have any experience in this field?

I think he is referring to DUI mobile processing command centers that also test for substances besides alcohol. Yes we have them in the states (Arizona at least), yes they are a nuisance, and I know of no method to achieve a false negative on roadside tests.

totally, in Arizona if you refuse to blow, they bring out a phlebotomist to draw your blood. I could be wrong on this as I do not live in AZ.... It is just something that I remember hearing.

so they have to have suspicion that you've been drinking before they test, right?

and they only test your blood if you refuse a breathalizer?

Yeah they use this tongue scraper thing, which picks up anything you've had. It's not a blood test tho, so it supposedly only tests if you are under the influence of drugs, eg did coke in the last few hrs etc.. But you only get a fine, not a indictable offence (like a felony in US). I live in sydney, and it's pretty easy to stick to back roads or roads that are too busy for busts! I hate fucking cops laying that shit on us....

the roadside drug testing came to victoria a few years ago. we were the first state in the fucking world to have these cunts. they do not test for coke, they only test for methamphetamines and THC. it is so annoying that you can't drive on speed anymore, that's why i don't take it anymore and just stick to psychedelics. i know what you will all think... (you're a fucking idiot for driving on psychs) but i'm talking like the next day.

The stupid thing about this shit is, they don't test for heroin, GHB, acid, or ketamine (and all other drugs that are dangerous to drive on) so people going to rave clubs will say "well i might get caught for driving after i've had pills, so i'll just have
GHB instead"

i can see acid and G making a big comeback.

also i have heard romours that drinking vinegar will somehow make the test result negative if you have been using the drugs tested for. i don't believe this for a second. if someone could somehow prove this wrong with your scientific knowledge, that would be good.

The roadside handheld breathalyzer isn't used in court. You can refuse everything including a bloodtest. They ask you for a statement after refusing. Your license will be suspended, but your lawyer atleast has a fighting chance.

I can't believe this. Do you at least have to be speeding or perform some kind of traffic violation for them to pull you over?

Man, how would some one protest against this? Can you go to your city hall or something and mention it to someone?
