Definitely 2 grams of marijuana over 1 gram of hashish. Hash isn't half as valuable here as marijuana is.

but isn't hash more potent? Like the THC content is higher?
If the THC content of the hash is more than twice as much as the marijuana, then I'll get the hash. but if its less than double, than I'll go with the marijuana.
And I'm talking about for personal use, not for resale.

I would still like 2 grams of fine bud over 1 gram of no matter how potent hash. It would last longer, but still it would get me as high.
But that just me and my drug habits.

I went with the hash. I love the high that I get from some nice quality hashish. There is nothing better.

This is an actual real-life dilemna for me, I have many choices, but narrowed it down to these to because of price issues.

If the buds are some homegrown headies that were cared for and properly cured, and not some BC beasters I'd go with that, otherwise, go with the hash.

I was going to say if it's a type of haze, I'd go for that. To me, there is nothing better than some pure haze. I had some the other day and it ripped my face off. A friend and I had trouble finishing a bowl. Keep in mind we usually smoke MUCH more than this, we were just wrecked.

I don't agree. I bought 3 2gram chunks of hash and I've had them for weeks. I smoke a decent bowl or two each day, and all those nugs of hash still exist. I've had them since the 23rd. that's 6 grams and I've already gone through the ounce and a half I had.
In this case I STAL, someone tell me the poll please or I'm voting for hash whether or not I would. Uh, for those prices I'd end up with the 2grams of weed though. I get hash for nearly the same price, just a little more than weed (around 25 a gram instead of 20). 35 for 2 grams is decent. 50 an 8th is usual around here. But... depending on the hash... I need STAL. :o

around here the only hash that ever floats around is the stuff I make. Besides at festies, I have only seen hash for sale once, and I snagged it up.

How would hash be less valuable than marijuana?
To make hash, you need to first grow marijuana, then extract the THC, making it much more potent, but ending up with less material.
A gram of hash goes for about $40 here... and a gram of marijuana goes for $10.

I've never smoked marijuana and it saddens me to say so. But I have smoked some really great hash that smells just like it. And it's cheap in my location as well.
Marijuana is very expensive and generally speaking, you won't find it.
The reason it is more expensive is because all marijuana here gets pollinated, they all produce seeds and it is not worth shipping to the city. So, they make hash of it and the marijuana is smoked or eaten locally. If it is ever smuggled to the city, it is expensive and usually comes from inside the city in a typical grow.
I don't want to go into detail as I don't have time, but that's how marijuana can be more expensive. You don't need good grass to make hash.
By the way, I wouldn't ever pay those prices. I pay about... $2.75 a gram of uncut and beautifully smelling hash. Smoked some not long ago with a Canadian that came from Amsterdam not long before. He'd never smoked hash before, so I was glad to meet him.

$20/gram for hash 'round here. $11/gram or less for pot. I wouldn't take either deal. Sounds like a lame choice. Besides both together make for the happiest time possible!

Well where I am from there is no such thing as 'high grade BC'. BC is the gross rock bud here. But in your case, you can't beat hash.
